INTRODUCTION
Our High Atlas Alpine Ridges trip is a full-on, adrenaline-fuelled circuit of the best ridges, scrambles and multi-pitch rock climbing in the area – one of our most technical trip.
The difficulty ranges from Alpine PD to D. There are no glaciers in High Atlas but many of the challenges of climbing in the Alps remain: big routes, altitude and the need for speed and efficiency. The High Atlas are truly a great stepping stone into the world of alpine climbing and your guide will coach and refine your rock skills to make you a more efficient climber for the alpine environment.
For our technical mountaineering and climbing trips a good base of mountaineering and climbing experience is required. Please outline your experience in our booking form. The final course itinerary and content will be left to the discretion of the guide.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Because of the technical nature of this trip, we only use instructors who hold the highest outdoor pursuits awards: in this case the Mountaineering Instructor Award. The MIA is a professional award and holders are assessed to high standards in the skills required for instructing mountaineering, including all aspects of summer rock climbing, the coaching of lead climbing and scrambling. We do not compromise on your safety.
