InterToubkal: the enduring reason for which most trekkers and mountaineers visit the High Atlas. At 4,167m or 13,671ft Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa: in summer majestic, but arid, whereas in winter a preserve of snow and ice. With its deep cwms and high ridges, Toubkal provides all round appeal: our standard Toubkal winter ascent treks take the non-technical approaches, but long climbing and mountaineering routes exist too, which we can discuss with you (see our Custom Trips & Courses page).

Winter conditions are generally reliable: most days are bathed in sunshine and the odd storm brings in fresh snow. Ice axe and crampons are, of course, essential in winter, but we aim to teach and instruct you in their use, as well as ensure you make it up and down safely. So, confront the challenge of a Toubkal winter ascent in the company of our expert guides and join us as we enjoy the rich culture and amazing cuisine of this beautiful land thanks to our local team of staff.
